What a fun day we had spending time in nature. There is so much to see and learn at this amazing place, Green Cay Wetlands! Situated in 100 acres of constructed wetlands, it provides educational opportunities about its unique natural habitat. From egrets, ibises, herons and more, the excitement is when they decided to fly right by and sit on the railings of the boardwalk. You can find alligators sunbathing in the midday sun, turtles wading in the water, and raccoons enjoying a scrummage for food. All of the inhabitants live together and its a marvel to witness. Its so much fun. If you're in the area of Boynton Beach, definitely take a trip to this amazing place.

As a community based in South Florida we understand the importance of taking care of our marine life. During the months from March to October, this is the Sea Turtle's nesting season where they will return to their home beaches to lay their eggs. As turtles are very sensitive to human presence on the beach, it is very important to follow the rules and regulations set out by our local beaches. Amazing work is done by the Gumbo Limbo Organization and the Loggerhead Marine Life Center. We are so grateful as well to support our dear friends at the Florida Sea Turtle Company, check them out!

What fun it is when you can take old clothes and transform them into new funky ones. Tie-Dye allows your creative mind and imagination to flow. At any good art supply store you can find the right products to create your very own Tie-Dye at home! It can be a bit messy so make sure you wear gloves... but that makes it even more fun! Michaels craft store has a great selection of readymade Tie-Dye kits for you to create with.
Lavender is well know as one of the best, mildest, gentlest and safest essential oils for babies and kids, recommended for children over the age of 6 months. It is great as an oil in a diffuser or a few drops on a pillow. A little goes a long way! Always read the instructions carefully when using any oil. There are some amazing recipes out there that you can play with and make with your children. If you want to make your own oil, we recommend Young Living. They have a fantastic starter kit that has 12 different oils in it. That not only can you use to make you own oil blend, but you can even be adventurous and make your own candles and so much more. We love inspiring an entrepreneurial spirit in kids at such a young age.
